@nancycunning i love this feedback! Yeh i always try to encourage songwriters to "just big fat do it anyway" we can all find reasons to hide our talents... im gonna go to ur page ... bet ur songwriting is brill x

I was especially struck by the way the chords and the words spoke to different parts of my songwriter self. The words beckon to my joyful, playful, creator self, while the quiet somberness of the minor chords connects with the part of me that resists releasing music into the wider world and sometimes is even scared to sit down and get started. It was interesting to have both those parts called to in the same song.

So kind... i enjoyed this one a lot! And it may well just be on my next album! I just released my first album "Authentic AF" on Xmas day :) xx

Just heard that soaring intro and knew it will be quality music. Expectations haven't failed. Kudos for writing this within a skirmish. Good ideas for vocals and harmonies. Worth tuning into full production

It’s a lot of fun listening to the inner dialog mixed in with those familiar rules of thumb about creating. That’s a nice reflective tone to go with the subject too.

I'm so jealous of your piano playing. Wonderful. The vocal harmonies work nicely. Double-tracked? Triple?
Very nice work; great improv!!!
"And that's the point, innit?" :-D
[avatar]
Love your voice. I love that you trusted the process! :)
And those harmonies!! This is a KILLER one hour song!!

There's so much space between (and even within!) the lyrics for those fun runs and musical play -- I love how the harp makes a shy entry and then continues and becomes more prominent in the later bit of the song, it's like the subject you're speaking to becoming more confident to write the song as you sing to them
