He played a few chords then he sang some more—

Oooh, someone went to some different Langston Hughes, I'm glad. Those last slow chords really befit the ending of the poem. Great composition @smudge !! Looking forward to listening to more this month 😄

This very moody. I like the long decay on the reverb. It adds to the feeling isolation.

Good job. I wish I knew enough about music and theory to actually write an instrumental.
