Never odd or even

Challenge: PALINDROME

Liner Notes

#dreamy #electronic

Lyrics

Hii, this is my first time participating in FAWM, I hope you guys like it. The lyrics from the chorus are a palindrome (never odd or even) and the chords from the verse are also a palindrome (am, bbmaj7, f#m7, bbmaj7 and back to am). The song is about how the past repeats itself and always goes in circles, kinda like a palindrome :D .I'm really new to electronic music and don't really know what I'm doing (especially in the mixing department), if you guys have any tips or something that would be greatly appreciated!!!

Lyrics:

Can't you see we can't play pretend, this isn't the end, forever

Don't you know that in circles it swims, time's a funny thing, it's never

Never odd or even (x 8)

Thanks for listening!!! hope to see you again!!

this is super floaty and spacious and haunting... very cool production and honestly love the lyrics—short n sweet, simple but very effective. thanks for sharing and welcome!

Wow, this is cool stuff. Loving the lofi / minimalist approach to it...nice work here!

Ethereal! Sounds like I'm flying through clouds or swimming in the ocean. Love how the chord progression is also a palindrome haha great work!

Nice soft and dreamy. I get inspiration from this atmosphere to go make some music!

Very nice song. Love the dreamy feel to the whole thing. The subtle bass drum sound holds it together. Enjoy your first FAWM! It’s a wild and amazing ride.

…great solution for the challenge - and oviously bonus-points for using a palindrome in the lyrics and the melody - well done!…

Hello, that sounds quite good. I like the atmosphere. Electronic music is also my passion.

Clever use of language and chord structure. It sounds nice too which is great as an added feature of using such technqiue. The effect on the vocals adds to the atmosphere, and I like the little sprinkles of those piano or harp sounds ( synth ? )
