Ah, good to be back. Here's an observational one to kick things off. A harmony here and there, but pretty simple stuff

Pink and blue like candy stripes
I know it’s just a trick of the light
And looking now it’s all so clear
Soon the night will disappear

The streetlights are no longer needed
They fell asleep as night receded
Resting during hours of daylight
Returning at first sign of night

Dogs are sensing long lost loves
Owners wrapped in scarves and gloves
Their olefactory precision
Leads to temporary indecision
Who has passed this way before?
To be feared or be adored

Sky has returned back to grey
Same old sky, another day
All traces of pink have gone
Waiting for another dawn

I was up and out early this morning and it was JUST like this.
And there were lots of very nice dogs out too.
