On a side note - I fell in love with French but my mother said, “We live in Southern California. You must learn Spanish,” So, of course, that was my official “foreign language” elective. So I went to summer school one year just to learn French and that lasted about 10 days - lol!

This is fun with the obvious irony and the confidential feel in the music. I am afraid I am part of this trend myself, having studied at least ten languages only to speak English 99.9 percent of the time.
