Time to mow the lawn again. A few dandelions are out there again.

Lyrics

The Dandelion's Lesson

Verse 1:
In a meadow far and wide,
A Rose and Sunflower stood with pride.
They looked down at a Dandelion small,
And said, “You’re just a weed, after all!”

Chorus:
But the Dandelion said, “Wait and see,
I might be small, but I’m wild and free!
I help the world in many ways,
With every seed, my strength remains.”

Verse 2:
The drought came, the flowers sighed,
The Rose and Sunflower drooped and cried.
But the Dandelion stood so strong,
Its little seeds danced all day long.

Chorus:
The Dandelion said, “Wait and see,
I might be small, but I’m wild and free!
I spread my seeds, I share my cheer,
Even in tough times, I’m still here.”

Bridge:
“Oh, it's not about how tall I grow,
It’s what I give, what I show.
In the wind, I’ll take my flight,
Sharing hope, spreading light!”

Chorus:
The Dandelion said, “Now you see,
I might be small, but I’m wild and free!
I help the world in many ways,
With every seed, my strength stays.”

Outro:
So next time you see a dandelion bloom,
Remember it can brighten any room.
It’s not about being big or grand,
It’s the love and care that make you stand!

I like how this works literally as an ode to permaculture and also to humble resilience.
