Unfinished Business

Liner Notes

This started when I had a mentoring session with my mentor at my course Wild at Heart. I showed him a photo of a chord progression on the whiteboard, and we built a piece around this progression.

We only had about an hour to work on this in the session, and I couldn't come up with any lyrics at the time. We did record a little run-through of the song so we wouldn't forget what it sounded like.

I recreated what I heard on the original demo using virtual instruments on Mixcraft. Then I wrote some lyrics dealing with the theme of incomplete work. Lastly I recorded vocals for this piece, thus finishing this song.
