This is a #parody, I know there are no copyright issues because the melody is original and the lyrics are at least 1740 or earlier. Prompted by a review of the Lady Mondegreen band website.

But they’ve slain the Eel of Moray,
And they flayed him on the green.

I know that ye were Hungry
And fish ye did nae sae
But I bade you not ta et him,
Fae the price you’ll have to pay

He was a braw gallant,
And he hid within the stain;
And the boney Eel of Moray,
Ye should have let him laine!

He was a braw gallant,
With pharyngeal Jaw;
But the boney Eel of Morey
Will never swim nae more.

He was a braw gallant,
Ciguatera in his liver;
And the boney Eel of Moray,
Will make you retch and shiver!

Ye et of his body,
