I spend last week at a little middle-of-nowhere cabin on lake in Michigan's Upper Pennisula. In addition to good food, lots of euchre (iykyk) and hanging out with extended family... we saw shooting stars every night and saw the northern lights twice including one show lasting for hours into the night.

It has been a busy summer but I plan on frequenting here a bit, mostly because I miss you, my fellow fawmers. I got a couple things cooking on the back burner...
