Musical idea from 3 July 2024. Most of the lyric from this evening. (I kept the whoop and holler line from the original rough idea.) The lyrical idea came from my wife always keeping me on my toes (she knows what she's doing) but luckily for me, she stuck around.

Nifty guitar which grabs straight away and doesn't let up plus an authentic country blues song which sounds timeless...great stuff!

Really put me in mind of Keith Richards/Exile on Main Street style country blues. Really nicely done. The little lick you play going into the lines and the interesting chord that you hit just after the first two lines of each verse are marvellous. Just needs a blues harp and this would be perfection 👌

Those country blues licks are too good. If this came up on my algorithm it would be an instant playlist add. The line "But you got me mumblin' whenever you walk away" got me. Nice work. Dig this one.
