Bad Song Club prompt this week is "Late Night Vibes" and this just kinda wrote itself.

Lyrics

She walks through the door like she owns the place
The look of seduction painted on her face
Wearing silk and leather and a studded chain
On anybody else it would look insane
I get late night vibes in the middle of the day
As she walks away
As she walks away

She writes down her number on a napkin in red
Doesn't say a word that doesn't need to be said
She leaves me with a wink and a hint of a smile
Got me falling' in love in just a little a while
I get late night vibes in the middle of the day
As she walks away
As she walks away

Now I don't ask questions I don't want the answer to
I don't question love, how about you?

She glances back just before she is gone
She know she's got me hooked and it didn't take long
I don't know if I will ever see her again
A woman like that will lead me straight to sin
I get late night vibes in the middle of the day
As she walks away
As she walks away
As she walks away
As she walks away

great set of lyrics. Late night vibes in the middle of they day paints a great picture of the person in the song.

Nice contrast between the staccato melody of the initial lines vs the longer held notes of the ‘late night vibes’ bit. Also love the ascending/descending nature of the hook. Trying to imagine someone who could pull off silk and leather and a studded chain 😆

What a fun song, love every line. The line "On anybody else it would look insane" got a chuckle from me, set that scene perfectly and the knocked it down with that line. The late night vibes in the middle of the day is gold, especially into the refrain. Even the bridge leaves the question hanging (like bridges should perhaps), " I don't question love, how about you?" Great line. Really great job on this one.

These lyrics are so natural and the way you sing them, it just feels like a song that has always been. Great line about "late night vibes in the middle of the day."
