neon lights hiding dirt on my clothes
the bar is serving these drinks on a loan
crowd gathers, elbows and knees
guess i'll throw my dice in the wind

outback some cutie smoking a j
smoke is swirling every which way
just got the signal time to go on
guess i'll throw my dice in the wind

jimmys whistling a slow down tune
annie playing them washboard blues
guitars singing like a sky on fire
guess i'll throw my dice in the wind

the crowd is mooooving
c
the mood is blueing
d c
electric sex amplified
d g am
rocked that room away
d c am
yeah i blew that room away

roll em high and roll em low
which way it goes i just don't know
this is my chance so you know i'm gonna take em
and i'll throw my dice in the wind

Or Luck Be A Lady Tonight with a rockin’ vibe. Really rolls along like a fast dice game. Cool song

Great descriptive words that live up to the promise of the title...sung and played with conviction and aplomb!

I really like the way you attack this one, vocally -- lots of power. "xx i'll throw my dice in the wind" is an effective hook! Adding characters like Jimmy and Annie is a nice idea, too.

excellent lyrics and the title line is brilliant. reminds me of hot day in hollywood when i took a temp job washing dishes for a buffet at hollywood and vine just for the air conditioning.

Cool imaginery, this song is very visual and I can see exactly what you're singing about. Nice guitar intermission but it left me wanting a more! I imagine in a concert space that's the moment for a longer improv and letting it shine.
