I always like minor key songs! This one doesn't seem as dark as the title might suggest through the main body of the song (which is a cool effect of the hopeful melody) but the ending leaves us wondering. Pretty mysterious!

A stroll down Melancholy Lane: a creative little journey of sorts. You turned the master skills up on this one, I hear. Technically deft for sure, but I'm leaning more into your finding the spirit of the prompt and just going for it. Aces!

That left hand is powerful with its strong presentation. I enjoyed how the right hand has that descent happening around the 3 minute mark. You combine them both with skill to create a vibrant mood.

The title sums up the emotions exuded by this affecting piece and masterfully done...it seems by acknowledging our darker thoughts through music and the arts helps us all to deal with them and then move on...well, that's my theory and I hope it's true...
