The title phrase was provided by the skirmish. I started out singing to the tune of the Rick Springfield song “Don’t Talk to Strangers” but then figured I had better change it up.

Lyrics

Don’t talk to people
Unless it’s that you
Slip up now and then
You’re gonna
Slip up now and then

Language is a curse
It does not have your back
If you speak that makes it worse
If you write it it’s a trap

Who do you think invented language
Obviously someone seeking control
It’s like they want to get a stranglehold
Their fingers on your soul

Do you know what it means
When you cast a spell
That’s every word you write
And everyone will tell

You know what they say about gossip
They call it the devil’s radio
You start to talk about people you can’t stop it
And on and on you go

This takes not wanting to talk to people to a whole new level, wow, great lyrics. Paranoid or dark truth? Catchy chorus. Great skirmish.

„Obviously someone seeking control,“ ha! Love this take! Especially as Ingwer that „not talking on purpose“ can be a form of control. Or so I hear. From a friend ;)

That's a different perspective! The "slip up now and then" chorus is catchy.
