Happy Friday, everybody!

I wanted to write a perspective from the perspective of an AI in this current sociopolitical climate. I was hoping that I could write a fairly innocuous song that wasn't sinister at all...but my biases betray me, so instead we get a slinky villain song.

I was so excited when the line "Why is everybody so obsessed with me?" popped into my head. I've been fortunate with a lot of epiphanies for first lines of songs lately.

Oh yeah. Jazzy and creepy. Love the internal rhymes, and you're enjoying being a troublemaker in the vocal, I can tell. AI is scary, but you got a sexy villain song out of it at least? 😁 Great slides on the guitar, too.

This feels like the dark mirror universe response to my own naïveté about AI. There are many of us who are far too trusting. I like to think that goodness is inherent and intelligence, I think we all do. But history has shown us that that assumption is often wrong. And you’ve created a quite convincing persona to explain that point.

Love that title phrase! I adore your slinky, sliding vocals. They're both pretty and also keep me guessing about where this narrator's voice is going next. "Your mind/You’re mine" creates a delicious opposition!" The light touch on the guitar perfectly suits the song, as well.
