Finally, a love song! To break up the monotony of regret and nostalgia, I hereby drop this song about my wonderful partner, about regret and nostalgia. It sticks to the theme of this project while also, like, being positive and stuff.

I wouldn't be here without her, and even when I'm using music as a means of therapy, I have to stick in a song for her. She deserves a billion of 'em.

This song in particular is about our history, and future. We met long before we got together, and would you believe me when I tell you that I was an insensitive Teenage Boy once upon a time? We were best friends, then we weren't, then I would hurt her, and then make up, and all of this toxic stuff that lead to us not talking for years.

Thankfully, I grew, and I learned, and while I am still a work in progress, there was a Rom-Com-esque realization where discovered that "The Thing That You Want Has Been Right Beside You The Whole Time". She deserves my love and devotion for being my best friend through everything, and for being the sweetest, kindest, weirdest, funniest person I've evet met.

I guess it's a statement on being able to change and be better. I'll keep writing songs for her and jamming them into projects that may not make sense, because even despite my Sad Boi ways, she makes me the happiest and best version of myself.

Anyways, if you survived that sickly sweetness, I hope you enjoy the song, and I hope that my disgusting Pisces energy isn't too glaringly obvious. But it is. I can't help it.
