I was working today with a client on her song called “Werewolf,” so naturally I had to write a song about a vampire. Enjoy!

Wow i am moved by this.
I had not seen the idea of the vampire at first, because i rather hear something about life. You did so well intricating the vampire tale and something i think we all can relate to!
You depict a feeling that we are many to feel i guess. At least, i do. "Once bitten, twice shy" is really something i can relate to. And the question "why is starting over harder everytime?" Really, i had not put it like this in my mind before, but that's it. It should be easier. It's not. Life doesnt work like a sport, unfortunately !

This is a really beautiful vampire song from someone who has definitely actually read dracula.

It feels reminiscent of 'Samson' by Regina Spektor where you're taking mythology to a universally human place.

There are obviously so many interpretations of the "vampire" out there, and this sorrowful and generous take works beautifully here. The understated guitar and vocals are quite lovely, and, indeed, very touching in their vulnerability. The final moments, as the emotion swells, are stunning.
