You’ve done a lot with a small number of words here. The intro is so cool, how it gets bigger unexpectedly. Gorgeous vocals. Not everyone can make beatified work in a song, but you have. The piano transition is stylish.

Lol at this being a throwaway. I like this minimal production, really highlighting your vocals, which sound really strong and haunting on this track, especially with these spare, dark, and evocative lyrics. Great melodic progression, and the piano and drum flourishes are a nice touch.

There is a lot of soul inside the lyrics and melody. Powerful and concise. Awesome!

Guitar sounds good against them. Man, just a great feel to this.
The piano is a unique touch that doesn't take away from the vibe, but it adds a different character.
Also really love the underlying organ/string/synth/whatever; its subtle and swells in at the right spots after the intro.
The sudden and sparse drum builds/fills are an excellent touch, too.
