Walking on the Moon

Liner Notes

I love ambient music! And when @wearedinosaures asked me if I would like to contribute my vocals to his music, I didn't have to think twice.
Hearing me is still exciting for me and it makes me happy when I get to be part of such an all-round great piece!

In addition: the piece has 30 bpm and is therefore included in the Slothcote challenge!

@wearedinosaurs says: "This one was written as a regular BPM (I wanna say 98) and then slow down to 30 bpm tp expose all the goodness of the tape echo I used for the guitar and bass."

A slothcore slo-mo tribute to "Major Tom"?! 😊 Nice sounds, cool vocal performance. Glad I stopped by. 👍

Beautiful vocals that wrap themselves around the floaty dark music. Nice!

Woah, the vocals make it sound so soulful - with so much sustain, the slowness is intoxicating. The instrumentation is lovely - the gentleness of the coming in and out. Far out - Sloths and moon - what a combo! Awesome collab!

Oh yeah, this is nice & slowwwww… Love the ambience of the music, but @mahtowin's vocals add a whole other dimension to this. This is the sort of thing I love to listen to in a dark room that's lit by one single, small light source; while drinking my favourite Scotch (Talisker) & enjoying the frequencies. Wonderful collab you two & such a great first #slothcore track for the summer!

hearing you sing is still eciting for me as well, and your voice fits in with so many kinds of production, but the wide orchestral production may be the on that suits you the best. at least in this case. to my ears, its the best singing ive heard you do.it seems to spring directly from the surrounding music and sounds.

This is the first sloth core tune I came across this summer. This has a rather hypnotic quality to it. I feel the moon-traversing aspects, but it has something else happening as well. Love the arrangement and it's mixed well, too. I've got a rather old Mac Book Pro...like, 2011 old, but the mix shines through. Great work you two!
