i agree with @davidtaro. this music would fit right into a french musical such as jacques demy's the young girls of rochefort. i see pretty girls in pastel dresses against a blue sky dancing down a street in paris looking into shop windows as all the boys turn their heads.

I like the panning. Excellent and interesting use of the stereo field, the mix arrangement reminds me of mixes from velvet underground’s album with that Warhol fella…but smooth as silk jazz in place of heroin psychedelic art rock…I just wanna like hold my wife’s hand on the porch and give all passers by the finger as they do the passing by. We have something they never will. Love and THIS friggin song right now.

Banger.

The perfect piece for me to listen to as my day winds down. I loved when that shuffling beat kicked in. So fun. I’m really into the flute, too, and that horn a few minutes in.

Oooh, nice. 60s French pop perfection. Achingly cool. That jazz guitar line is magical, as is the jazz flute. Pitch perfect orchestral flourishes. You feel about 70% cooler just listening to this, so it must feel wonderful to have created it :)
