A little gloomy with some great dissonance but with some riffs of hope! I like the motifs that run through this and the layering of instruments. There’s a forward energy feel that seems to create some energy for a Monday, albeit a bit reluctant and subdued.

it is a peaceful gloom, one can sink into it and not feel so bad.it has the ring of a new orleans funeral procession, the kind that precedes the celebration of life.that is initiated by the entrance of rhythm. in its own way, it reminds me of the final theme of bob dylans soundtrack for pat garrett and billy the kid, accompanying the slow , dreamy sequence in which the sherriff arrives to murder is old friend.

Certainly a laid back track, may not have got gloomy from it if you hadn't planted it in mind. 2.5 minutes in and the track got a beat injection, rapid fire hihats, which really turned it around for me. Nice chord progression 😄
