Nobody's Fault
Liner Notes
Lyrics
When an aeroplane falls out of the sky
Who investigates the cause, the reason why?
Questions asked and secrets found falling from the vault
But sometimes no-one’s to blame It is nobody’s fault
Earthquakes Lightining bolts and other acts of God
There are injuries and yet it’s kind of odd
Though life gets too dangerous- threats of vile asssault
But sometimes no-one’s to blame It is nobody’s fault
Then there’s you and me , I don’t know where to start
Was it meant to be or will we have to part?
Should we do it differently, should we call a halt?
But sometimes no-one’s to blame It is nobody’s fault

I love this chord progression, the melody sounds sort of like those old french songs, which combined with the pain and contemplation in the lyrics makes for a pensive, nostalgic moment. Really beautiful vocal, and lovely phrasing too.
this entire song, lyrics, chord progression, and delivery, is just so charming and sweet, yet so sad. i DO want to know if they stay together or split up...?
