It wasn't until I finished that writing this that I realized the verse structure is almost identical to "Count the Fingers"--oopsie! Guess that'll take some reworking back in the real world. But here's my skirmish for the "horror" prompt!
Lyrics
Flip the pillow over to the cold side
Never mind the noises coming from your closet
Or under your bed
Regroup–did you take your melatonin?
Sleep through the poltergeist shaking the nightstand
Drawing letters in red
Are they really there if you’re the only one who sees them?
Seems like you’re losing your mind
Give it a rest
Give it a rest
Read it backwards in the mirror
Someone else’s breath fogs up the glass
Drawing lines in the sand
Last night, someone flushed your medication
Squeeze your eyes shut and try some meditation
Fighting, hands tied behind your back
Are they really there if you’re the only one who sees theM?
Seems like you’re losing your mind
No, it isn’t fair, nothing that you try will appease them
Please, believe we’re on your side
Give it a rest
This is not a test
‘Cause nothing, no horror
Neither living or undead
Could stand a chance against the monsters in your head
Flip the pillow over to the cold side
Never mind the voices telling you it’s nothing
It’s not nothing
Are they really there if you’re the only one who sees them?
Seems like you’ve gone and lost your mind
Somebody really cares enough to reach you from the outside
Find a way to be kind
So you can lay them to rest
Lay them to rest

The "someone else's breath fogs up the glass" sounds very terrifying to me ! I like the way you bring the idea it might be coming from the character's imagination, and that makes it even more horrific, the fact we can't know for sure.
It reminds me of the song "goodnight demon slayer" by Voltaire. Though the image of monsters in the bedroom serves a different idea.
Your vocal and melody sound great with the acoustic guitar backing.
As good as this sounds... I would sidle up to the Cold Side.
Just wasn't aware anyone but Voltaire was....able to do that, so....
Very well done indeed.
Probably the most enjoyable song I've heard in years, to be completely honest.
