Hey I’m Andy (They/she) and I’m a Genderfluid trans femme songwriter! I’ve been writing and performing in bands for 15 years now!

Right now, I write and perform in a Brooklyn-based Queer Punk band, A Total Wreck! We released a single called “FLA” back in December and we will be recording our debut album in March!

Before the pandemic, I used to make chill, indie folk music under the name Avant Gardener (inspired by the Courtney Barnett song) But I still like to occasionally perform my acoustic songs! I’d like to write more, influenced by the recent folk revival.

For this year’s FAWM, my goal is to end the month with at least enough material (that I like) for a solo EP. I plan to block out each of the 4 weeks for a different instrument to base my songwriting around. Most likely (in no particular order), Acoustic guitar (folky singer-songwriter stuff), electric guitar (for more punky grunge type stuff), drum machine, and synthesizer/looper (for Synth Punk)
