Another miniature. This is an attempt at a musical haiku. How can I say just enough without saying too much? Does the music provide a little surprise in the middle just as a haiku might have an unexpected change in perspective?

The chords are borrowed from the most common jazz progression, the ii7-V7, but they could have easily come from a song by the Doors or Neil Young.

However, the I chord (tonic) never appears, thus making the V7 feel like home, awkward as it is, making this a modal tune in Mixolydian, a favorite mode of jam bands.
