Okay, full disclosure, that was a tall glass of wine I had at dinner.
So, this came out very tongue in cheek, or maybe just cheeky. However, every word is true ;)

Here's the Skirmish Prompt:
In a recent article in "The New Yorker" magazine, Oliver Burkeman is quoted from his book "Meditation for Mortals."
""Your life task," Burkeman explains, "is what emerges at the intersection of your circumstances and your abilities. “Never mind what you want. What does life want?” he asks.""

I'm a 'what you see's what you get' kinda gal
And I'm not great at planning ahead,
When it comes to meditation,
I find myself sleeping instead,

So when I hear "Meditation for Mortals",
I've no freakin' idea
What direction that could take me,
Or how it will make me feel.

Chorus:
But,
I'm game for almost anything!
I love to learn every day.
So lets give it a whirl,
Yup, I'm that kind of girl,
And see what the book has to say!

In an article in the New Yorker
Talking about "Your Life Task,"
"Never mind what You want, what does Life want?"
Is the question that they ask.

Since I've followed my nose through life so far,
I can honestly say,
I still have no blinkin' idea what it wants
Even to this day.

Life has taken me interesting places,
And let me do interesting things,
If that is not what it wanted,
Why'd it give me these wings?

I've been a Faerie at a music festival,
A creativity coach for kids,
The Alpha head of a wolf pack (true),
That scratches the surface the things that I did.

Now that I've moved to Mexico
Who knows where that path will lead,
Merge intersection of circumstance and abilities?
Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see1
