I thought I had maybe reached the end of my personal FAWM for this year – got to the point where the prospect of writing another song felt more annoying than fun – but just in time, a friend of mine came over the other night and we started jamming on my electric keyboard together. Neither of us is really a keyboardist, but we figured out how to get it to generate a pre-programmed rhythm, and then we simultaneously improvised live. We were sitting side by side with the keyboard across our laps, not even looking at what each other were doing, just improvising by ear. I held up my phone in one hand to record using the voice memo app while playing random stuff on the middle area of the keyboard with my other hand, and my buddy Andrew handled the top end of the instrument.

However, this turned out very long and repetitive, so I wouldn't blame anyone if you don't feel like listening to the whole thing :P We had a great time, though!

Note: this is a collab with Andrew, who is not on FAWM, hence why it's not officially marked as a collab.
