Ahead of this FAWM, I was hoping to get a bit more experimental - and while that lasted a few tunes in, I soon reverted to type 😂

The other day I thought instead of dipping into my existing ideas folder, I should start completely from scratch - with nothing, no templates, nothing. Picked up an acoustic guitar and the main bassline you hear in this song basically fell out.

The rest of it almost wrote itself too. The synth lead was basically unchanged from my first take, before I even knew how it was going to go...

The mix is all a bit wonky, but fine for the demo. It's not the usual kind of thing I mix, so was a bit challenging...

Anyway, got a few other songs to finish this February, so, onto the next one... I don't think this one's a keeper. Not sure how it would fit with any of my other songs! And I'm no rapper.

Voice: Uses, among the usual things, Ovox and NI Dirt. Recorded on condenser, as opposed to my usual Shure Beta 58a.
