My Oracle card was "HONESTY", so I have a girl name Honesty who has a family of liars. It is not my typical songwriting, but I enjoyed it, but I didn't enjoy why my guitar sounds like it is across the street. I just want to move onto the next song, I'll work on production later, the basic idea of the song is here.

You definitely made the Oracle card work for you, Tammy. It's a clever premise you came up with and you've delivered it in a beautiful song. Your vocals hit the heart and make us feel for this girl.

Tammy, this is sooooo beautiful! So incredibly beautiful! Your guitar sounds fine to me. Your vocals sound awesome! I am just totally taken away while listening to you sing! Excellent lyrics with such important messages! This song has everything! One of the very best I've heard at FAWM this year for sure!!!

Wow, what a great set of lyrics Tammy. The 1st verse just lays it out hard. The chorus is so conversational (no easy feat), I could picture a wise woman imparting these very words to a child who had had no guidance at all and longed to be seen. You portray the stark reality of so many lives and offer comfort, hope and recovery as the song moves on. It's so loving. I love the flow to your music and that voice...you knock me out Sister. Got my tender boots on listening to you. I enjoyed the Oracle challenge, too. I pulled the Focus card. Guess who needed that one!!!!! :0)))))

I love the story the lyrics tell. So very creative naming the girl Honesty...Honestly!!! The melody is pure gold...honestly!! The guitar sounds great, the vocals are freakin stellar...such a fantastic voice you have!! honestly!! Not many folks can sound so excellent with just a guitar and vocal (ok, a little percussion too) This may be my favorite of yours this year....so far!! As @karan said, This is Brilliant!! (Honestly)

Gorgeous music. Great storytelling from one word.

I like how much is packed in this "Honestly Honesty, a dad's love's forever
it was never, he left home in December." So much casual abandonment, then all the lies crafted around it.

Also enjoyed the assonance in the last 3 lines - those "u"s!

This is another very nice song, Honestly!
The vocal and the melody sound smooth and natural and the wistful lyric add to the somber tone here. Enjoyed the listen.

Tammy, this is absolutely brilliant! This song captures the deep pain so many people are feeling in their lowest moments, while the uplifting chorus brings a ray of hope and positivity. Ooh Tammy that melodic hook is so catchy. This sounds like a lost classic Joni Mitchell song. That Honestly Honesty hook is sooo good. What a great outcome for the Oracle challenge!
