This song was from group 8 of the #MetamorphosisChallenge (or #DrunkKaraoke challenge) that I invented last year for 5090. This is how it worked:

1. @nancyrost and @lindsaymachine chose a famous song (The Middle, by Zedd, Maren Morris, Grey)
2. @nancyrote rewrote the chords of the song, and sent it to me
3. @lindsaymachine wrote a new lyric for the song, and sent it to me
4. I combined them both, not knowing the original song
