Liner Notes

This was something I had bits of lying around, like the first 2 lines...

Lyrics

You’ve been waiting for the moment
Waiting for the end of the day
Pluck up the courage find the words to say
Perhaps your cares with just float away

You’ve been waiting for the sun to shine
Go to the park, find a place to unwind
You’ve been waiting for the rain to fade
Expecting blue skies at the break of the day

You’ve been planning that trip for a while
You’ve got the money now to do it in style
Settle back, take the weight off your mind
Come the dawn you’ll feel your body unwind

You’ve been waiting for the moment
You’ve been waiting for the right time
You’ve been waiting for the moment
Perhaps it’s now

I love this song and its message. It’s easy to keep waiting for the “right” moment and sometimes it’s right now.

NIce easy feel to this pleasant and truthful moment. I like the first words being your launching pad for the next line: pluck up the courage finr the words to say. A meta moment in the song. Really nice work

I love the way this lyric unfolds and you take us to the last stanza …. There is a lot of empathy throughout and the last stanza is like a gentle nudge of encouragement. Lovey melody and delivery.
