Jekyll & Hyde

Liner Notes
This was a leftover progression idea from Nuka-Cola. The demo didn't turn out great but I find it interesting how the IV- can sound similarly nostalgic in minor as it does in major when preceded by something like major's VI-. So here I'm doing something like I- VI-7 IV- V7.
In the latter half—for a darker mood—I switch the VI-7 to VI-6 with the 6th in the bass, so it's really like bV-7b5, I guess.

Beautiful! Demo is great to my ears anyway. Love the liner notes.

Haha, awesome. I loved the Nuka-Cola piece, so I'm thrilled to find out you've carried on with the concept.
There are indeed harmonic progressions that blur the boundaries as far as feelings are concerned (and I find that chord inversions can do that as well). Consonance = mathematical thing? But what about subjectivity?...
Anyway, amazing guitar work there! That Jekyll/Hyde piece sounds *very* satisfying from my point of view. Delightful complexity.
