Cool idea! "Will hunger override empathy" is an interesting concept for sure. If it were me writing this song, I'd probably put that line at the top of a page, then dedicate a 30 minute non-stop free writing session to try to explore different ideas and themes. You might be surprised where the idea leads you. You may come up with different imagery than just the wolf and the prey (not that it's bad).

Anyway cool idea and if I would you I would definitely spend more time fleshing it out in March. Keep up the great work!
