NEW INFO from Beth:
Updated demo posted on 2/14! Just adding this new and improved demo with Corey singing - first time he's ever done anything like this and I think he did an amazing job! He came to our band's (Gin, Chocolate & Bottle Rockets) show last night and surprised his wife by singing this to her with us. It was pretty dang special.

Old Post:My friend/neighbor Corey took my songwriting class this past 6 weeks and we worked together to write his first song. It's a beautiful tribute to his wife. He came up with the melody and chords for the chorus of the song, as well as all the words for the verses/prechorus and bridge and I just helped to add some melody and chords there. We're gonna surprise her on Valentine's day with it at a show. Woohoo! I'll repost a version of it with him singing...soon, we hope! Way to go @clo. We performed this for the class last night and they were all singing along by the end!
