I was with a friend recently who is going through a separation. I know it is so hard for her. She has tried to make it work and sometimes relationships don't work despite best efforts.
This melody got stuck in my head after being with her.

On a songwriting level, this is a breakthrough for me. I always write about very personal experiences. I was able to get into her world and write from there. Very powerful.

I enjoyed this. The honeyed vocal on the title hook is a perfect foil to the melancholy, menacing guitarwork.

The plain language in the lyrics is used to great effect - there's so much exasperation inherent in 'what's it going to take', and your delivery brings it our perfectly.

You’ve a lovely tone to your voice. A deep and natural resonance that conveys emotion very well. Real harmonies will obviously help but overall a very pleasant listen.
