Liner Notes
(WAIT FOR THE SONG TO PLAY IN GOOGLE DRIVE) Another repetitive and quick song but again performed with live instruments, and that process of recording is getting to be easier with my synthesizers. A big lesson was learned on this one, though. Write. Things. Down. I can't remember the drum pattern, and I'm bad at making drum beats, but I like this one. It's the same thing with the poly-d's sequence. I don't remember what notes were played or how I got it to do that huge hoover sound in the beginning; I just pressed C, and somehow it worked, and then I let the decay cut it out. The Td-3 again is somehow playing off the poly-d perfectly with accent.
I use a Tascam model 12 to record and use it as an interface, and it's been a challenge. I wanted to add another chord sound for my last song with my poly-d, but when I tried, it somehow recorded the already made loop. I don't know how, so I got around that this time by recording everything into the playlist in FL studio and then recording the hoover into Edison as an audio file. But if I do it that way, the other instruments aren't recorded if I wanted them. I would like it if I could record it into 3 separate Edisons simultaneously so they are still synced up, but I don't know how or if that's possible. I'm trying not to, but the only thing I did within FL studio was add effects and some automation for the audio to cut out quickly during the little break and the panning to happen during then. I wanted to make the drum kick in a little more aggressively, but I did it slowly because I was doing it manually. Besides that, I'm controlling everything by hand; I even let in the last little drum thing because although I messed up, it still sounded very good. Written in 138 bpm or 69 times 2, of course, for that "hyper" feel to the song. I am writing off song titles this year for creativity to be quicker, and although I have no real-life influence on how I wanted this song to feel, I captured what I imagined it to be pretty well
