Liner Notes

Worked on this one with my son Jeremiah! He is a much better guitar player than me, but I did my best to keep up! If it inspires ya feel free to add to it! #needsvocals #needslyrics #needscollab

@bradbrubaker So glad you enjoyed this tune my friend! Not sure my son thinks I "improved" his original guitar work! Hahaha! Blessings!

This is all kinds of tasty, earthy attitude. Love all the different sounding guitar parts that somehow come together to form a solid whole. Great father son collaboration!

The chunky palm muted section with the synth crescendo into the lead guitar was killer. Nice work.

@johnkaniecki Haha! I actually didn’t realize that! The reason I called it “The Wrecking Ball” Is because I took my son’s great guitar track and threw Dad’s wrecking ball at it and this is what came out! Haha!

This works super well as a stand alone instrumental...the guitars are fantastic sounding and the whole piece is a joy to listen to...

Sounds funky. I'm intrigued by the title as Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen both have songs by the title.

Looks like you’ve got a fun setup there! 👌

@wehappyfew Sometimes I use my KALA tenor or my Alvarez Grateful Dead concert uke or Seagull Acoustic or Merlin (kind of like a guitar shaped dulcimer that ya play more like a guitar, but tuned like a dulcimer). So yeah, I guess I do move around a bit on occasion! Haha!

@wehappyfew That whammy bar guitar was actually all my son sent me. He just gets ideas and sends them to me sometimes and some are pretty cool(like this one) so I embellish on them. He used is Gretch with a Bigsby on it for that track. I am ALWAYS using my Line 6 James Tyler Variax paired with the Line 6 HELIX which allows me endless guitars and effect combinations! If that thing ever goes south on me I’m done! I’ll have to start all over! Thanks for stopping by for a listen! Many Blessings!

Cool vibe here, nice use of the whammy bar in the intro and catchy riffs throughout. This is a great father and son collaboration and look forward to hearing it with lyrics (if that’s the route you go). What guitars are you using on this track?
