Liner Notes
(GIVE THE SONG A SECOND TO PLAY IN GOOGLE DRIVE) It's super, basic and quick. BUT. Completely dawless so I'm proud of that. Finally, I got the power to all my stuff, but it cannot be safe for me, and especially for my instruments. It's like a 200-foot power cable to an 8-10 plug power strip. I want to do more dawless and live-recording stuff. I get so frustrated with the recording process that I don't have as much time to work on projects this year. For example, I was going to add another synth part, but for some reason, it somehow would record the other part when I wanted to record that one part. I don't even know. The repeating main pattern is from my Poly-D and is a part of a chord that I like to play which I could have but the Poly-D isn't great for playing chords but I think it still worked. The bass is my TD-3, which is new to me, and I...hate it. I can't figure out how it works, and Behringer makes the most difficult-to-understand manuals. But again, I accidentally cleared the pattern already on it, and I think it is playing the bass notes feeding off from the synth, so I thought it sounded not terrible. The little drums are the drum brute that I got simply because they had distortion and can be very aggressive. It's also actually pretty easy to use. I chose this title because I rarely go into a city. I was sitting the other day wondering if thunder in a city is beautiful like I wanted it to be in the song or if it's scary because I imagine the sound bounces off the buildings a lot, so I added some stereo delay to try to get that sound but not be too frightening or aggressive still.
