I've been watching this Japanese anime series with my 13 year-old called "Attack On Titan." He has to keep explaining to me what the heck is going on, because, well, I'm old and this stuff goes over my head. But it inspired this song, so hey, that's cool. Just threw everything at this arrangement. There are two virtual drum kits, synths, virtual horn sections, strings, weird stuff...why not! Ha! I think I'm having a little too much fun singing about anime blood and guts.

Terrific walls of sound and interplay of driving instrumental lines that is a perfect stage for these awesome lyrics that really capture and bring back memories of images of Japanese anime graphic novels I used to get the boys trying to get them to read. Such a strong powerful hook and vivid images really bring this alive with intensity and splendor!

I totally relate - I watched Game of Thrones and all the Marvel movies with my younger son - I would have never figured out what was going on with his help! This is such a cool song. I really like the pulsating bass under the chorus - and the trumpets in the background. You nailed the dark musical tone in the verses and also the more triumphant tone in the chorus. Love the transition at around 2:50. The echo whispers are great too - nice production and mixing - and of course awesome vocals!

This honestly feels very timely for the world we live in now, in a Hunger Games type way. The dramatic pop treatment is both fun and cohesive with the lyrics
