Man, Doom doesn't get enough love.

This is an effective enough version of the Funeral Doom vibe, with a good mix of harmonious sections and deeply unsettling discordant ones. The higher-register "weedly-wee" bits are appropriately piercing and dynamic, while the low-end drone confers a churchlike heavy foundation for the whole piece.

Funeral Doom isn't usually my preferred flavor of Doom, but, hey, I've paid to see bands live that I enjoyed way less than I enjoyed this. The complexity in the harmonies elevates it.
