This song leans on a musical mood. I am probably showing Daryl Hall influences in the lyrics and music.

Lyrics

You creep into my thoughts
Around the middle of the afternoon
Like a word I can’t pronounce
Like a rhyme without a tune

You creep into my thoughts
With the sound of rain and thunder
Like a window I left open
Like a question where I don’t know the answer

If you’re thinking I’ve got a problem
Baby you know it’s true

That’s why I’m always ragging on you
Always ragging on you
(Ragging on)
That’s why I’m always ragging on you
Always ragging on you
(Ragging on)

You creep into my thoughts
Whenever I can’t seem to move
It’s like I’ve got to do it right
It’s like I’ve got something to prove

If you’re thinking I’ve got a problem
Baby you know it’s true

That’s why I’m always ragging on you
Always ragging on you
(Ragging on)
That’s why I’m always ragging on you
Always ragging on you
(Ragging on)

This does have a Hall influence in the best way possible! The melody is catchy and the song flows so well! Great play with words! Wonderful response to the prompt!

Always consistent with your playing and tempo. I don’t know how you do it. Your foot doesn't tap. You have great concentration in your demos. I get flustered when I am in front of camera, trying to do a one take. Nice lyrics, very compelling and with some really nice word play. Great skirmishing.

nice one! love the wordplay and some of the lines are really original- 'like a window I left open' is a great image! music fits the lyric well, too. great job!
