I set out to write a punk album, and then drifted away from that a bit. So, this was my attempt to get back to the concept. The only problem is, I recorded all the drum tracks for these songs a month ago, with no real idea of where the music was going to go. I think if I was recording this over, I would make the drums faster and punchier.

People avert their eyes
As they pass him by
Nobody cares to now
About the reasons why

He stumbles and falls as he passes them by
And people refuse to look him in the eye
But he's too proud to speak out or tell them all why
He can't find his feet and falls down in the street

Some people think he's a drunk
Who stumbles around in a funk
But he never touches a drop
In silence, endures his lot

And stumbling, he starts to race
And he falls flat on his face
But he never asks them for help
As he climbs to his feet by himself
