Lyrics

This morning I went to the park
Where we first kissed two years ago
I couldn't find it right away
'cause of the falling snow
The place didn't feel the same
Without you by my side
When I finally found 'our' bench
I sat down and cried

Why did you go, our love was so great
Don't you remember the promise you made?
Together forever and now it's too late
(much too late)

And it's so easy, oh so easy
To take your love away
But, it's so hard, oh so hard
Without you night and day

I still feel the pain inside
About those lies you told
How is it possible that you
Turned as ice so cold?

Why did you go, our love was so great
Don't you remember the promise you made?
Together forever and now it's too late
(much too late)

And it's so easy, oh so easy
To take your love away
But, it's so hard, yes it's so hard
Without you night and day

So, this is the end my love
I'm on my own from now
I'm sure I will overcome
Even though I don't know how

Why did you go, our love was so great
Don't you remember the promise you made?
Together forever and now it's too late
(much too late)

And it's so easy, oh so easy
To take your love away
But, it's so hard, yes it's so hard
Without you night and day

And it's so easy, oh so easy
To take your love away
But, it's so hard, yes it's so hard
Without you night and day

It's so hard
It's so hard
It's so hard
It's so hard

Awesome and inspired full band sound! I love the expressive vocal that really delivers the lyrics. Cool piano playing, too. A fully realized, bittersweet indie rock song. Love it!

This is great! I love the melody. The chorus is especially captivating. I really like the high notes, and the guitar playing is really cool. The piano interlude and subsequent bridge work well to lead into the final verse. Nice work!
