Lyrics

Newton's apple, Einstein's light
Curie's radiance burning bright
King's dream echoes through the years
Their voices whisper in our ears

We are not alone, no
Giants paved the road we go

Standing on the shoulders of giants
Reaching higher, touching the sky
Standing on the shoulders of giants
Their wisdom helps us fly
Every step, every leap, every boundary we break
We're part of a legacy they helped to make

Shakespeare's words, Beethoven's song
Van Gogh's vision carried on
From Lascaux caves to city streets
The beat of progress never sleeps

We are not alone, no
Giants paved the road we go

Standing on the shoulders of giants
Reaching higher, touching the sky
Standing on the shoulders of giants
Their wisdom helps us fly
Every step, every leap, every boundary we break
We're part of a legacy they helped to make

Every idea, every creation
Builds on the foundation
Of those who came before
Opening new doors
Their triumphs, their falls
Lead us to uncharted halls

Standing on the shoulders of giants
Reaching higher, touching the sky
Standing on the shoulders of giants
Their wisdom helps us fly
Every step, every leap, every boundary we break
We're part of a legacy, a future to make

That's a huge sound you got there. Must have been a bitch to mix. You are a band? Got that Alan Parsons 70s epic prog feel fitting for the heavyweights you're paying tribute too. Well done!
Thanks for taking time with my stuff yesterday, glad you enjoyed.

wow, this is a really polished and accomplished song and production! great work, every detail sparkles and this is really wonderful. Did you really create all these songs in the last month and a half? quite amazing stuff. some of the vocals remind me of the moody blues a bit, by the way- great lyric and great setting and performance.

Always liked that title ! Feels epic from the first bar! I love these jaunts through history I usually attempt one. That holding piano sits so well against the classy vocal. This is really too class. Reminds me a bit of a band I hadn’t heard of thought of for many moons, Barclay James Harvest. More of this mate it really good!
