It's one pass. Guitar has a Roland GK-3 hex pickup, feeding a Roland GR-20 pedal. The MIDI out is being sent through a Hudsonics MIDI to USB interface into my PC, then routed as an input to Reaper. I added a couple of synth patches as well as routed the guitar audio into Reaper. Forgot to tune the guitar, and played fairly badly, but the tune needed to come out. I'd spent the first part of the morning going through some of my recently deceased father's belongings and managed to break my own heart a couple of times. I had to sit in the studio and let some of the feelings come out of my fingers.

Slow paced and emotional, you can hear the feelings as they pass through your fingers. Normally your brain to fingers improv is pretty flawless, but the slight hesitation at some points makes it all the more emotional as your brain works in overdrive to keep it all on track. ❤️
