Wildflowers

Liner Notes
Yesterday, we drove along the country roads to visit my sister. Lots of colours along the country roads this time of year, all the wildflowers. We have had lots of rain and sunshine, the ditch flowers are plentiful.

This theme fits into my #quiltmusical very well, the sister who wants to travel the world.
Lyrics
Wildflowers
[Verse 1]
Someone told me once that wildflowers grow everywhere
They're common and they're cheap as a one night affair
But I've seen them bloom where the sun meets the sea
In places where no one but the wind dares to be
Chorus:
Oh, wildflowers, they dance in the rain
Their beauty unnoticed, their freedom sustained
They're resilient and strong, they bloom where they please
Wildflowers, wildflowers, they dance in the breeze
Verse 2:
They paint the world with colors unseen
A silent rebellion in fields of green
No gardener's hand, no master's decree
Yet wildflowers thrive, wild and free
Bridge:
And like those wildflowers, I’ve learned to stand tall
In the face of the storms, through the rise and the fall
We’re not just survivors, we’re warriors of light
In a world that tries to dim us, we shine ever bright
Chorus:
Oh, wildflowers, they dance in the rain
Their beauty unnoticed, their freedom sustained
They grow in the cracks where the concrete meets air
A reminder of life's resilience, beyond all despair
Outro:
So cherish the wildflowers wherever they bloom
In cityscapes, meadows, or spaces of gloom
For they whisper of hope in a world so unkind
