Take A Bite Of You

Liner Notes

Another @cindyrella lyric that was begging for some music. This time I thought some jangly pop might be the go :)

Lyrics

Take a Bite of You
© 2024 Cindy Prince

Your lips are like cherry ice cream
Dripping into my mouth
Your kiss is like that juicy peach
We shared on our trip down south

Your scent makes my mouth water
Like hot chocolate on a cold day
Or like those piping hot croissants
We bought at San Francisco Bay

Chorus
I have a voracious appetite
I want to take a bite of you
I have an unsatiable craving
And nothing else will do
I have a ravenous hunger
And it's only you that can fill me
I have a urgent longing
Come with your love and thrill me

Bridge
With the taste of your love I have no resistance
I need every sweet part of you for my existence

Your body keeps me coming back
Like a honey bee to sweet flowers
Remember feeding me strawberries
In that hammock we shared for hours?

Repeat chorus

hitting a hotspot Corey and Cindys lyrics are always a wise choice. I love the music bed on this its almost hypnotic and you deliver some tricky words with ease

Some wonderful descriptions in the lyric. Very impressive to hear "voracious appetite" and "ravenous hunger" sung! Sounds so natural. Corey's got the vocal down. I like how it's more intensely expressive in the bridge and chorus. The guitar sounds good! Good work!

excellent write using food as the music of love. But who is going to clean the place up after the meal?

I like the wistful feel of the music here; the lyrics are so passionate, but the performance choices put a someone more laid-back spin on them; still romantic and upbeat, but maybe a bit reflective too. It's a captivating blend.
