This middle aged couple were talking a bit loudly in line at the checkout at Safeway a couple days ago. The woman said something and the guy responded with, "Go figure". I always keep my ears open for gems like that. It seems to spark this old songwriter's ideas.

I also dig the lyrics. You just never know how things are gonna go, I guess. SO many times things happen and all you can say is something along the lines 'go figure' and just shrug. And let you say, can't explain it.
Yeah this sounds great. That harmonica is awesome!
