With a prompt asking “Where are you from?” the last thing I expected to write was a guitar instrumental, but here we are.

Lyrics

I come from a long line of strangers in town.

Loneliness and distance certainly comes through in this acoustic-only song. With its deliberate, hesitating play, quite the situation is also painted and seen as this guitar "gently weeps."

Good stuff here, @hmstreetteam , that stirs both emotion and thought in a listener by way of that six-string storyteller!

You know I was waiting for the lyric I came from a long line of strangers in town. Nice piece though when you say strangers stranger than what

I feel a little sadness, but also some wonder, some joy and perhaps drama - you captured lots of different feelings in here. Great skirmish!

You never know where an idea will lead you, huh? Personally, I'm getting a sort of bittersweetness to this piece, which seems relatable.

Thanks for taking part in my skirmish!

This is really lovely with a melancholy and provocative feel with the well placed pauses and strums patterns. Nice chords and sounds. Fits the title well.
