"The searing need to get it right." WOW. You have such a gift of succinctly articulating the vast feelings that are so hard to commit to words. You have a way in your performance of delivering the melancholy in a way that is so sweet and hopeful still, without shying away from the genuine sadness of the material.

I love a piano ballad! Your voice/words and piano intertwine so nicely. A lot of the songs from this skirmish really speak to me personally, and this one certainly does that.

Oh this is sad, describing a very low point. I really like the piano accompaniment as well. Can imagine a flute would fit in well with the melancholy!

I get an after-hours or end-of-the-evening feeling with the story in this song, as if it’s almost a fresh reaction to something gone wrong in the evening. Nice angle on the skirmish!

Beautiful and brutal. The imagery is so evocative! I love your vocals and how you use dynamics, sometimes soaring then to fall softly at the end. Really lovely work!
